Part of a larger series of works exploring my relationship with the sun in nature, A Gift to You immortalizes a single moment. The distortion reflects the evolution of memory, becoming more visually abstract while maintaining emotional intensity, evoking the essence of the environment without merely depicting it.

This piece offers a glimpse into a love story, not romantic, but one rooted in deep, platonic connection. It tells the story of my best friend and I: the kind of love that transcends romance. It reflects the experience of adding new members to your family as you grow up, a girl in her twenties and her chosen sister.
