Biography

Ketkarn Damrongwattanapokin is a Thai artist and designer whose work explores emotion through movement, colour, and abstraction.

Born in Bangkok where she continues to live and work, Ketkarn approaches painting as a practice rooted in intuition and gestural experimentation. Her work often draw from natural forms - waves, mountains, flowing lava, as metaphors for the quiet movement of feeling in nature, emerging from fragments of sound, memory, and emotion. With a passion for materiality, colour, and process, she cites modern artists Cy Twombly and Frank Bowling as influences on her layered, contemporary style.

Ketkarn's expressive canvases have been exhibited in galleries across Bangkok.

Ketkarn holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Design from Goldsmiths, University of London.
