Chen Sands is a British-Filipina abstract artist whose work explores friendship, sisterhood, and human connection.Through dynamic mark-making and layered textures, she translates relationships into expressive, vibrant compositions, where colour reflects emotional bonds.

Chen’s practice began as a personal response to the love and support she received from the women around her during a life-changing battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Now in remission, she continues to celebrate those who guide, uplift and inspire through her work.
